Description

GLM-5.2 is Zhipu AI's open-weight flagship, grouped in the Pro tier on Aymo, built specifically for long-horizon coding agents rather than general chat. It's the third release in its line, and it offers two reasoning modes so you can match its effort to routine generation or complex, multi-step coding work.

Chat with it for repository-scale software engineering, including multi-file changes and long agent sessions that run across many tool calls without an early drop-off in quality. It holds a very large amount of context in a single conversation, enough to review a full codebase in one pass, though very large workloads are best broken into parts to keep reasoning sharp.

It's text-only, so it can't read images. Zhipu reports strong coding results against other models, though these are the vendor's own figures and independent confirmation is still catching up.

Why GLM-5.2

Why Use GLM-5.2?

Aymo gives you more than access to GLM-5.2—it provides a complete multi-model AI workspace designed for productivity.

Repository-Scale Coding

Work through multi-file changes and repository-wide edits, built for real engineering work rather than isolated snippets.

Long Agent Sessions

Run coding agents across extended sessions with many tool calls, staying consistent rather than losing quality over time.

Large Codebase Review

Load in a full codebase and review it in a single pass, thanks to a very large context window.

Structured Tool Output

Get structured output like JSON, useful for wiring the model into coding tools and automated pipelines.

Adjustable Reasoning

Choose between a faster mode for routine generation and a deeper mode for complex, multi-step coding problems.

Frontier-Class Coding

Get coding performance that Zhipu reports competes with closed frontier models, at a fraction of the cost.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about using GLM-5.2 on Aymo AI.

Repository-scale coding, long agent sessions, and tasks that need a very large amount of context in one conversation.

Access depends on your Aymo AI plan. GLM-5.2 is available on supported paid plans. Check the latest pricing for details.

Yes, coding is its entire focus, built specifically for long-horizon, repository-scale engineering rather than general chat.

Select it from the model selector in any chat and send your text-based coding prompt. Switch to another model mid-thread any time a task needs a different edge.

No. It runs on your Aymo plan with no separate Z.ai or Zhipu account needed, and your data stays inside Aymo's workspace rather than routing through Zhipu's own hosted API. If you'd rather use your own Z.ai account, BYOK supports that on qualifying plans.

GLM-5.2 is the newer model, with a much larger context window and higher reported coding scores across the board. Use GLM-5.2 for the larger context and stronger coding results.
