This section explains how to begin working inside Aymo, including starting a chat, selecting models, uploading files, using fast models, understanding model tiers, and managing chats.
First Chat
A new chat can be created from the sidebar or dashboard.
Enter a prompt, upload a file, or select a preset task to begin.
Aymo supports long prompts, structured inputs, code snippets, and multi-step instructions. Each chat is saved automatically and appears in the recent chats list.
Switching Models
The model selector above the chat composer allows switching between models at any time. Switching models changes how responses are generated and can be used to compare:
- Reasoning depth
- Coding quality
- Writing style
- Speed
- Token usage
Model switching is instant and does not require starting a new thread.
Uploading and Parsing Files
Files can be uploaded using the attachment button next to the message field.
Supported formats include:
- PDFs

Aymo can:

Uploaded files remain attached to the current thread.

- Reasoning models: O-series, DeepSeek
- Fast models: Flash, Mini, Nano
- Coding models: Grok Code, Qwen Coder
- BYOK models: Enabled with connected API keys
Each tier provides different strengths in reasoning, speed, accuracy, and cost.
Selecting the right tier improves overall workflow quality.
Basic Prompting
